Like the rest of the world and the United States, Atlanta awaited the verdict Tuesday afternoon for former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin, who is accused of killing George Floyd. At 5 p.m., the verdict was announced: Guilty for all 3 counts.

With the march blocking side road from Edgewood Avenue through downtown. The marchers chanted, “Guilty, guilty, guilty,” and people in traffic pulled over in their cars or stopped walking on the side of the road and held up fists with the people marching.
